Communications Specialist • Graphic Designer

I'm a communications professional and graphic designer with more than two decades of experience telling stories through design, media and public engagement. As Communications Specialist for the City of Salem in Virginia, I work closely with city leadership, public safety and schools to keep the community informed through websites, social media, printed media and day-to-day communication.

At my core, my passion is design. I've created a wide range of work for Virginia Tech Athletics, NASCAR, local businesses and more, including a wide range from apparel and promotional graphics to digital and print campaigns. My background in broadcasting and photography help me keep a broad perspective when it comes to design and storytelling.

As a 2007 Virginia Tech graduate with strong ties to Southwest Virginia, I take pride in creating authentic work that connects with the communities and audiences I serve.

Sports Venues

One of the best things about America is the variety of sporting venues around the country. From Fenway Park, to Cameron Indoor Stadium, Daytona International Speedway and Lane Stadium in my own backyard, they pepper the landscape and are all unique.

Traveling to sporting events in these locations has become a passion. It's almost a hobby and it's somewhat of a hunt. Some folks collect baseball cards, stamps or coins. I collect stadiums.
